EAGLE EYE (2008) Film Review:

Daniel Kulick and I review the D.J. Caruso action film EAGLE EYE starring Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan. A bit of a bore as action films go; LaBeouf does not get the chance to exhibit any sense of his acting abilities and Monaghan is fairly square as well. Check out our thoughts on this mediocre little film, broadcast on THE ROTTEN TOMATOES SHOW.

This Is 40 (2012) Film Review

My review of Judd Apatow’s hilarious but uneven THIS IS 40, starring Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann as Pete and Debbie, characters recycled from 2007’s KNOCKED UP. Arguably Apatow’s most personal film as director or producer, and certainly his most complex, the picture serves to bring his family life into the range of topical crisis comedy. While difficult to sit through at more than two hours long, the director’s latest at least amuses from beginning to end, and features tremendous supporting performances by Melissa McCarthy, Megan Fox, and Albert Brooks.
