My review of David Cronenberg’s latest film, A DANGEROUS METHOD, starring Michael Fassbender and Viggo Mortensen as Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud, the forefathers of psychoanalysis. Also starring the luminous and terrifying Keira Knightley as their dual patient, Sabina Spielrein, it’s a terrifically made film that sadly lacks the peculiar and psychosexual forcefulness of most of Cronenberg’s work. That being said, it is masterfully made, beautifully acted, and written by the Oscar-winning genius Christopher Hampton. Let me know what you think of the review!

TITANIC 3-D (2012) FILM REVIEW:

My review of James Cameron’s epic folk masterpiece, TITANIC, rereleased in 3-D to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of it crash. Visually state-of-the-art and acted with verve, TITANIC is one of the most critically and commercially successful films in the history of cinema, and it was a pleasure to see it at the Darling Harbour IMAX theater in Sydney, Australia. If you have not seen the film, you are missing out on a modern classic.
